GAF 2021: OFFICIAL 1500M RESULTS FOR BOTH CATEGORIES

1500m Women’s Race

Ghana’s sensational and experienced athlete Lariba Sakat Juliana from the Ghana Armed Forces won the females 1500m in 4:38.78 while her teammate Rosina Titi also finished second in 4:42.91 and Sarah Koomson from the Ghana Police Service also placed third in 4:45.34. Sarah is a very talented athlete and she is on her way to greatness. It was a straight final.

1500m Para Women’s Race

Dinah Kuubetgr hails from the Upper East Region. She is the only para-athlete who competed in that event and it was very as the fans were cheering her up. Dinah finished in 5:32.98 which is a new personal best for her and race record.

In the male category, the athletes were divided into 2 teams of which both were finals. All the times were compiled together and the best times were awarded as the winners. Winners will be updated later.

1500m Men’s Race

The ECOWAS medalist Aziz Mohammed from the Ghana Armed Forces won the men’s 1500m in 3:56.04 while Frederick Osei placed second in 3:58.24 also from the Ghana Armed Forces and Owusu Benjamin from the Ghana Prisons Service finished third in 4:05.15.
