The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Championship has successfully come to an end. Most of the athletes from different security services, tertiaries, high schools, former athletes, individuals, and athletics clubs participated in the first-ever Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Open Championship. Nearly 1000 athletes were present at the mega championship of the year in Africa.

The event was graced by the Director-General of the National Sports Authority, Prof. Peter Twumasi. He commended the organisers of the event and encouraged the athletes to work hard and prepare well ahead of the 13^th African Games. Ghana is well prepared and we will host the games in a grand style in 2023. He also said that the government is committed to promoting sports in the country. The Captain of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) was also present and in his closing remarks thanked everyone for honouring their invitations. Applauded the Sports Director of GAF and all the Head Coaches for bringing up such a great event. He also disclosed that GAF is also planning another cross-country in January 2022.

The first official pictures of the championship are ready and available for download. These are not all and we will keep on updating all of them. The first batch is about 250 pictures.
