GAA Releases The Last Quarter of Programs From Oct-Dec 2021

The Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) has released its last quarter of programs to be held before the end of the year 2021.  There will be a series of coaching courses for any individual who wants to become a certified coach. The coaching courses were halted due to the coronavirus pandemic and now the Ghana Athletics Association will be resuming its operation again which begins this month. GAA releases the last quarter of programs from Oct-Dec 2021.

  • On the 24th – 29th October 2021, there will be a coaching course at Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North Region.
  • 31st October – 5th November 2021 another coaching course this time it will be done in two regions respectively. All will be carried out on the same day ie. Techiman in the Bono East Region and Goaso in the Ahafo Region
  • There will be another coaching course in the Oti Region but a date is yet to be confirmed. The event will be held in the region’s capital, Dambai.
  • 15th – 20th November 2021, the Ghana Athletics Association will be having a course for Officiating Officials Level two. This means that those who have done the level one course are to register for this course only. If you are a beginner, you aren’t part of this course. The venue for this course is Accra in the Greater Accra Region.
  • The final coaching course of the year will be held in the Ashanti Region, Kumasi. This coaching course is in advance and it’s the World Athletics Coaching Course. The duration for the whole course is 12 days which will commence on 22nd November – 3rd December 2021.
  • Another quick and fascinating event will be held in December. The championship is open and this time is for the youth (Under 18). The date is slated for 17th – 18th which will be a two-day championship. Further details of the event will be communicated soon. The venue is Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Paa Joe Sports Stadium.
