Fred Kerly wins USATF 100m Final in 10.77 World Lead – Olympic silver medallist Fred Kerly won the 100-meter competition at the 2022 USA Track and Field Championships after running three times under 10 seconds. read more

He ran a personal best and world-leading time of 9.83 seconds during the preliminary round on Thursday. In the semifinals, Kerley set yet another personal best and world record with a time of 9.76, moving into a tie for sixth place overall. read more

In the final, Kerley once again dazzled by winning the USA 100-meter championship in 9.77 seconds. The only men in history to break the 9.80 second barrier twice on the same day were Asafa Powell from Jamaica and Kerley.
