Focus on school sports talents are there – Solomon Aidoo

Solomon Aidoo, an Inter Allies center-back, and University of Ghana (UG) student has advised Ghanaian coaches and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to focus on Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games because there is a lot of talent there. Focus on school sports talents are there – Solomon Aidoo.

Following Inter Allies’ relegation from the Ghana Premier League (GPL) last season, the center-back just signed a two-year contract with the Eleven Is To One family, with a one-year option to play in the Division One League for Inter Allies.

A lot of talents are being wasted in Ghana here due to poor scouting and proper management of the sports. The school games are packed with future and natural talents but we don’t look over there and nurture them.

“The Ghana National Coaches should take a close look at the university games as a group inside GFA.” In the universities, there is a lot of tremendous talent.

“The only assistance we require from the GFA is for them to assist us in obtaining a call-up to the various national teams.” We’re all set to serve. “Says the center-back.”

We hope all the various sports disciplines managements will take a bold step to bring limelight to our school sports again.

Currently, the Ghana government has banned all sporting activities in our various schools from 2020 to date.
