Femke Bol Wins Women’s 400m in Torun

Femke Bol, the Olympic bronze medalist in the 400m hurdles, ran the world-leading time of 50.64 seconds, just 0.01 seconds faster than her own national indoor record. Last year, the Dutchwoman won the European Indoor gold medal with a time of 50.63 on the same Torun track. Natalia Kaczmarek came in second, increasing her lifetime best to 51.15, ahead of European outdoor champion Justyna Swiety Ersetic (51.40) and Lieke Klaver of the Netherlands (51.93).
