Elvis Koku Kwashie of Multimedia Group’s Joy Brands Passes On

Elvis Koku Kwashie, the General Manager of The Multimedia Group’s Joy Brands, has died. Elvis Koku Kwashie of Multimedia Group’s Joy Brands passes on.

“It is with a sad heart and deep sorrow that we announce the terrible loss of our dear colleague, Elvis Koku Kwashie, General Manager for Joy Brands,” the group wrote in an internal memo to employees.

“Elvis Presley died on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) following a brief illness.”

“We pray that God will comfort his wife and children, as well as his bereaved family and all of us here at the Multimedia Group, and offer us the fortitude to bear this loss,” the statement continued.

“Continue to remember the widow, children, and bereaved family in our prayers,” the business group

said.

Funeral arrangements will be informed in due course, according to the statement.

The former President of Ghana, His Ex. John Dramani Mahama also wrote on his Facebook handle to sympathise with the late Elvis Koku’s family.

“I knew Elvis from my days as a young deputy minister for communications especially when as a young journalist he was assigned to cover parliament.
He was a good person and his days with the Multimedia Group showcased his professional journalistic trait, and a classic example of how to play the gatekeeping role as a media person.
I was by his bedside briefly during his period of hospitalization and feel indeed sad that he was unable to pull through.
We can only thank God for his life, and my heart goes out at this time to his wife, Cynthia, the children, family, and to the Multimedia Group”, he added.
