DACE Intensifies Training
Dambai College of Education (DACE) has intensified training and hoping to perform impressively at this year’s COESA VOTI zone sporting festival. DACE is hosting this sporting event for the first time in decades. And it is the dream of the Principal of the college, Dr. Mrs. Benedicta Atiku Awusi, and her entire staff for their institution to be declared the overall winner by the end of the event on Sunday 3rd July 2022. For this reason, the college organized Inter Halls games a month ago to assemble athletes for the event. The selected athletes have been camped and involved in vigorous training for two weeks now. The soccer team intensified their training yesterday by engaging in a low-profile match with Top town FC where they won by 5 goals to 2 . Amankwaa Rayford A.K.A B3DIED3 (come and enjoy) scores 4 goals and provides an assist. Other disciplines are also training fervently to keep their Host and win dream alive. The soccer team is hoping to play another friendly match on Thursday to help the technical men to assess the team’s strengths and weaknesses.
CAA African Senior Championships – Final Medal Table
The zonal inspection team was at the park earlier this week for inspections. They had a meeting with the principal and the planning committee. They also visited the regional minister and chief of Dambai for further discussions. The sporting festival is expected to kick off on the 26th of this month to the 3rd of July,202. In this year’s COESA games, DACE says, “Ne mele me nawoa go mayi” which means ‘If you can’t go give me the way’ literally.
