Commonwealth Games 2022: Joseph Amoah fires 20.58s qualifies to semis
Ghanaian sprinter, Joseph Paul Amoah breezed into the semi-final of the men’s 200m race at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Amoah qualified with a time of 20.58s.
The Ghanaian, who was strongly predicted to advance from the heats before the race, proved why he was the favourite by finishing far in front of his rivals.
Nevertheless, Saminu Abdul-Rasheed, who placed third with a personal best time of 21.32 seconds, was unable to advance to the semifinals.
