Commonwealth Games 2022: Ferdinand Omanyala Wins Men’s 100m Final

Commonwealth Games 2022: Ferdinand Omanyala wins men’s 100m final – Ghana’s fastest man, Benjamin Azamati finished 4th in the men’s 100m final at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

The 24-year-old finished with a time of 10.16s two one-hundredths of a second slower than Sri Lanka’s Yupun Abeykoon, who finished third.

Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala claimed gold in 10.02 seconds ahead of South Africa’s Akani Simbine who came in second in a time of 10.13 seconds.

Sean Safo-Antwi, on the other hand, did not qualify for the men’s 100m final.
