The Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) has released the qualification and entry standard for the championships in 2021.
“ALL PERFORMANCES MUST BE ACHIEVED DURING THE PERIOD OF 1ST JANUARY 2021 – 30TH APRIL 2022.
ALL PERFORMANCES MUST BE ACHIEVED DURING AN OFFICIAL COMPETITION ORGANISED IN CONFORMITY WITH WORLD ATHLETICS RULES”
During the maiden edition of the Junior Olympics Championships Isaac Botsio participated in 100 metres and 4 × 100 metres respectively. The championship started on 17th Friday – Saturday 18, December 2021 at the Paa Joe Sports Stadium at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
According to the rules of CAA all performances must be achieved within the period of 1st January 2021 – 30th April 2022. – The Junior Olympics Championships was held in that time with the date – 17th – 18th December 2021.

According to the second rule of CAA all performances must be achieved during an official competition in conformity of World Athletics Rules and Regulations – The Junior Olympics Championships was endorsed by the Ghana Athletics Association and all times were Electronically recorded.

Preliminary rounds – Heat 6 – Isaac Botsio – 10.61 seconds
Semifinal – Heat 3 – Isaac Botsio – 10.56 seconds
Final – Wind (-1.4) – Isaac Botsio – 10.42 seconds

The final time qualifies him for Senior Africa Championships in Mauritius.
