Ashanti Regional Athletics Association To Organise Its First Executive Meeting

The Ashanti Regional Athletics Association (ARAA) is organising its maiden executive meeting after its election. The ARAA held its election on Friday, 26th November 2021 at the premises of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium (conference room) in Kumasi.Β  Ashanti Regional Athletics Association to organise its first executive meeting.

The new elected executives were sworn in the same day and work had already begun for them. A press release that Athleticshour has seen indicates that a meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday, 14th January 2022 at the Islamic Senior High School.

The other breaking news we can confirm is that the BABA YARA SPORTS STADIUM is likely to be opened and athletes can train at the venue on supervision from their head coaches. There is also the possibility that the Ashanti Regional Inter-Collegiate Games could come on this year per our sources.
