Ashanti Regional Athletics Association Donated Assorted Products To Support NSA Cross Country

The Ashanti Regional Directorate of the National Sports Authority (NSA) organized its local Cross Country on Saturday January 22, 2022 to pick athletes who will represent the region for the forthcoming of the National Cross Country Championship.
The National Cross Country Championship is slated to take place on Saturday, 19th February 2022 at Akim Oda in the Eastern Region. This will be the first time the Eastern Region will be hosting the biggest regional event.
The first chairman, Mr Suleiman Zackariah Yeboah, and the second chairman, Mr Akwesi Duodo, of the Ashanti Regional Athletics Association (ARAA), came to grace the event and presented the organizers with 10 packs of bottled water and 7 packs of energy drinks, which were given to the athletes after the competition.

The Ag. Ashanti Regional Director of National Sports Authority (NSA), Mr Emmanuel Kojo Appiah showed appreciation by making a presentation of a citation to the 1st chairman of the Ashanti Regional Athletics Association Chairman, Mr. Sulemana Zackariah Yeboah for his valuable contributions and he has done in the past years to lift the image of athletics in the Ashanti Region and Ghana as whole.

The last edition of the National Cross Country was held at Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North Region. The Western North Region is part of the new six regions Ghana recently created.
T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School dominated the ladies race.
