ARSC Elects Its Executives
The Ashanti Regional Sports Council (ARSC) held its annual election to elect its executives on Friday, 26th November 2021. The election was held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the conference room early hours of the morning.

Most of the aspirants went for unopposed but not for the organizer and deputy organizer, four aspirants vied for the position of organizer, they were Bright Atta Boating, Emmanuel Adusei, Amoako Atta Jeffery, and Patrick Lartey. On the other hand, two aspirants were voted upon by the deputy organizer and they were Isaac Lamptey and Awudu Nuhu.
The Women’s Commissioner was in the person of Magrate Simpson while Nana Amoanimaa Kwafo was the Deputy Treasurer.
Among the aspirants who won the various vacant positions are;
- Sulemana Zakaria – Chairman
- Emmanuel Tuffour – 1st Chairman
- Akwasi Duodu – 2nd Chairman
- Nana Saa Josephine – Treasure
- Patrick Lartey – Organizer
- Awudu Nuhu – Deputy Organizer.
The acting Regional Sports Director sworn in the newly elected executives, and he also charged them to work hand in hand to make Ashanti sports the best in Ghana.
