Algerian footballer dies of heart attack in a match
Sofiane Louker, an Algerian footballer, died of a heart attack after colliding with his goalkeeper in a second division match in Oran on Saturday, December 25th, 2021, according to a local news agency.
The 28-year-old Louker, from Mouloudia Saida, was injured after colliding with his goalkeeper midway through the first half of their league two (2) tmatch at ASM Oran, according to the APS agency. Algerian footballer dies of a heart attack in a match.
After receiving treatment, he returned to play for ten (10) minutes before collapsing, according to the news agency.
Louker was taken to the hospital but died of a heart attack en route, according to APS. When the news of his death reached the two sides, they decided to call off the match.
