The Bono East Regional Cross Country Team has paid a courtesy call to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon Issac Baffoe Ameyaw of Kintampo North Municipal Assembly at his office on Tuesday, 22.02.2022.
This is part of the preparation towards the fourth edition of the 2022 National Cross Country Championship. The event will be held at Akim Oda in the Eastern Region on Saturday, 26yth February.
The visit to the MCE was to inform him about their departure to the host region tomorrow. The team will depart tomorrow to Akim-Oda, after successful camping at Kintampo.
The head coach introduced the regional team athletes to the MCE in a short ceremony and he assured the MCE that the team will perform better.
According to the MCE, the team has gotten the opportunity and it’s a privilege for all the selected athletes to represent the region. He wished them well and that they will be victorious at Akim Oda. Akim Oda 2022: Bono East XC Team pay a courtesy call on MCE.
Hon Issac Baffoe Ameyaw encouraged the team and bid them farewell.
