Akim Oda 2022: Aziz Mohammed Ready For National X-Country Championship

Aziz Mohammed of the University of Ghana will compete for the Central Region in the 2022 National Cross Country, which will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, in Akim Oda in the Eastern Region.

Because of its collaboration with the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) and the 2023 Local Organisation Committee, this event, called “Running towards Accra 2023 African Games,” would be special (LOC).

 According to the National Sports Authority, it is good timing for talent unleashing as Ghana prepares to host the 13th African Games in 2023.

“I have a higher target in this Cross Country because the University is expecting much from me.
Secondly, this cross country will be used to select athletes to represent Ghana in the 2023 African Games and the World Cross country, so I want to win and represent Ghana at the international level.” Aziz disclosed to UniversSports.

The West African Youth Games medallist is expected to be among the first top 3 finishers in the fourth edition.
