Akai Nettey Wins RBO Light Flyweight Title

At the Idrowhyt event center, Akai Nettey settles the score with a massive stoppage over Prince Boah to claim the new RBO Light Flyweight Title,Dansoman Akokofoto. Akai Nettey wins RBO Light Flyweight Title.
Boxing fans were ecstatic as this young boxer demonstrated his incredible potential for his breakthrough victory on Boxing Day night, December 26,2021.

Nettey enhances his excellent record by defeating Prince Boah. Both boxers displayed remarkable creativity before the 19-year-old stormed in hard in the fifth(5) round with a barrage of power punches to put an end to the visitors’ hopes of capturing the RBO title.

Osumanu Haruna defeats another countryman, Ofei Dodoo, to become the new National Heavyweight Champion after his opponent refused to answer the bell in the sixth round through TKO. Haruna dedicated his victory to his family and fans, and urged up-and-coming boxers to be ready so they can succeed.

Mubarak Abubakar, another Ghanaian middleweight prospect, won the new National Middleweight Title in the eighth round by KO and will now face Obodai Sai for the title in 2022. Date yet to be scheduled.
Other boxers on the program included Mathias Sulley Nguah, who defeated Enoch Lamptey in the fourth round, Obodai, who stopped Jedida Doku in the third round, and Issac and Daniel Sowah, who are both experienced old middleweight foes.
