Osumanu Haruna defeats another countryman, Ofei Dodoo, to become the new National Heavyweight Champion after his opponent refused to answer the bell in the sixth round through TKO. Haruna dedicated his victory to his family and fans, and urged up-and-coming boxers to be ready so they can succeed.
