The Senior National Team, the Black Stars, lost their opening match against Morocco in a lone goal. They were eager to win their second game which was against Gabon. The Starlets started the game very well and just in 18 minutes of play, the skipper Andre Morgan Ayew put the team in front.

Ghana is to face off Comoros on Tuesday 7:00 GMT at the Stade Omnisport Roumdé Adjia in Garoua, Cameroon. The stadium was opened in 1978 with surface capacity of 22,000 but renovated to a capacity of 30,000 for the AFCON.
The Stars needed a win to enhance their chances of making it to the next stage of the competition.
