The Accra Milo Marathon is an annual road running competition that is held in Accra, Ghana for the past decades. The Milo Marathon is the biggest road running event in Ghana. The first event was held in 1987 and it has become a tradition until its last edition in 2016. Accra Milo Marathon: Full winners in the men category.

Since 2016, the Accra Milo Marathon has not been able to organise again to date. Almost every president of Ghana had witnessed the start of this mega event. The main start point is at the Nungua Junction Mall and the finish line is at the Dansoman Keep Fit Club House. Most of the time it was scheduled for September and sometimes in October but not often.

The event is a full marathon (42km) route and every year about 4000 – 10,000 participants register for this event. It was the only marathon in Ghana at the time. The Accra Milo Marathon later gained a lot of international recognition and athletes from different countries were trooping in each year.

The winners of the Accra Milo Marathon were usually sent to the Netherlands to compete in the Amsterdam Marathon.
