2022 Olympic Villages: Beijing Olympic Games have opened
The Beijing Organising Committee announced that three Olympic villages for the 2022 Winter Games have commenced operations in China and are accepting members of foreign delegations, with the official opening ceremony set for Thursday. 2022 Olympic Villages: Beijing Olympic Games have opened.
From February 4 to February 20, 2022, Beijing will host the Winter Olympics. From March 4 to 13, the Chinese capital will host the Winter Paralympics.
In the Chinese cities of Beijing, Zhangjiakou, and Yanqing, the competitions will be held in three clusters at the same time.

It took around five years to design, choose locations, and construct the communities. During the Olympics and Paralympics, China has done all necessary to welcome athletes and official delegations from all around the world.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, all settlements are part of a so-called “closed-circuit” system. It will be forbidden for village visitors to leave the circuit. Guests will be able to travel between Olympic venues on dedicated buses at the same time. In addition, a high-speed railway will run between Beijing and Zhangjiakou.
